The municipality of Ugao-Miraballes celebrated on March the second the Edition VIII of the Agricultural Fair of Producer Women. The act, framed inside the activities organized on the occasion of the Day Internacional of the Women, relied on 20 producers who offered quality products coming from developments managed by females of different sectors from the agricultural area of Biscay, women all of them with a professional activity centred on the primary sector. The winner of the 150€ prize, awarded by the local authorities, for the best stand was Maria Rosario Etxebarria (Gatika).

The fair had a main reinvindicative component. On one hand, the contribution of the women became well-known to the primary sector recognizing the important work that they have made and make in the maintenance of the rural world, beside motivating the incorporation of new women to the sector.

The act, organized by Nekalur S.L. and Ugao-Miraballes's town hall, had the support of the Women's Association and families of the rural area Landa XXI, The ärea of Political of Kind(Genre) of the Statutory Deputation of Biscay and the BBK.  pics
