| The Botanical Park of
Jauregibarria (Amorebieta, Basque Country) celebrated last saturday an
80km horse Raid vaild for the Biscay province and Spanish championship
of young horses. Besides, the same Park hosted an 40km Raid valid for
the championship of the Basque Country. Tne winner of Biscay´s championship was the horse Makan, rided by Ibon Alberdi, followed by Inca and Bride. The final clasification championship was leaded also by Jon Alberdi with Makan, whereas Mireia Costa (with the horse Enia) and Mikel Etxenike with Altruk qualified second and third respectively. On the other hand, the winner of the Spanish championship of young horses was the worse Enia, followed by Altruk and Al Nasar Adit. The event congregated lots of public within Amorebieta. Out of the 52 horses that took part, 32 were in the one-star-Raid while the remaining 23 horses took part in the promotion Raid test. pictures |
